About the Foundation

ABOUT the Susan Klingenstein family Foundation

Our foundation continues a multi-generational philanthropic tradition through its work with communities in New York City and beyond. The Susan Klingenstein Family Foundation provides grants to organizations that improve life for adults as they age using programs, services and medical research. Established in 2022, the Foundation will initially look for applications from Jewish organizations in the New York City area to realize these goals. The Susan Klingenstein Family Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization.

Our Mission and Vision

The Susan Klingenstein Family Foundation provides funding to organizations that serve adults as they age. We aim to enrich the quality of this population’s life by exploring new and innovative ideas and supporting existing programs. The Foundation may also support research and provide seed money for the treatment and cure of epilepsy and Alzheimer’s disease.

Areas of Interest

Our foundation provides one-year grants to organizations serving communities of adults over 75 years of age. Areas of interest may include programs to prevent feelings of loneliness and isolation by teaching older adults to confidently use technology to connect with their families and communities.

HOW TO APPLY

At this time, applications are by invitation only.
